Compliance with POPIA & FICA Regulations

1. Commitment to Privacy

Crestline Advisory (Pty) Ltd respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.

2. Information Collection (FICA)

To comply with the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), we are legally mandated to collect specific "Know Your Client" (KYC) documents, including but not limited to:

  • Certified copies of Passports/ID Documents.
  • Proof of Residence.
  • Source of Funds declarations.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Your personal information is strictly confidential. However, to execute your investment and residency strategy, we may share specific data with authorized third-party service providers solely for the following purposes:

  • Banking: Opening Ring-Fenced accounts at Authorized Banking Partner.
  • Government: Department of Home Affairs (DHA) for residency applications.
  • Legal: Appointed Conveyancing Attorneys for property transfer.

4. Data Retention Period

In accordance with FICA regulations and our internal audit requirements, we are required to retain transaction records and client verification documents for a minimum period of five (5) years from the conclusion of a transaction or the termination of a business relationship.
